Coconut Patties




What we need: -


Freshly grated Coconut 
1/2 Onion and green chilly 
very finely sliced
(you can add chopped cilantro) 
Flour for the dough 
Salt as per taste 

How we make it:-


The dough should be  kneaded tightly with a luke-warm water.
Mix the grated coconut, onion and green chilly with a little salt (you can add a spoon of lemon juice, but I do not prefer it).
Roll out small balls cut from the dough into a slightly elongated shape (somewhat like a rounded rectangle).
Spread the coconut mix . Fold from all four sides to make the shape shown in pic or make it like gujiya. Press the sides with hand dipped in water. Deep fry.  Serve hot with tomato sauce.
